Effective July 2026 · What we collect, why, and what we don't do with it.
What we collect
Dealer account details (company name, contact info, dispatch phone/email); asset records dealers enter (equipment details, sites, locations, service dates, notes); scan events on tags (timestamp, tag serial, technical browser information — we do not collect precise location); service-request submissions (the name and message provided); and signup form submissions.
How we use it
To run the service: showing asset pages, alerting dealers to scans and service requests, fulfillment and billing, and improving the product. We do not sell personal information and we do not run third-party advertising.
People who scan tags
Scanning a tag requires no account. Scan events are logged and shown to the servicing dealer, as noted on every asset page. If you submit a service request, what you type is sent to the servicing dealer.
Where data lives
Data is hosted with our infrastructure providers (currently Vercel and Neon/Postgres) in the United States. Transactional email, when enabled, is sent via our email provider.
Retention, export, deletion
Dealers can request a full export of their data anytime. Asset and scan records are retained so service history stays useful; dealers may request deletion of their account data, subject to records we must keep for billing or legal reasons.
Not for children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.
